Canyon Rim Visitor Center, Thurmond Depot
Take U.S. Route 19 to Glen Jean exit, follow signs to Thurmond, 7 miles down WV Route 35 (this narrow, winding road is not recommended for RVs and trailers). Exhibits and historic furnishings bring the golden days of railroading back to life. Visitor center is open daily Memorial Day to Labor Day - weekends in May, September and October.
