Fishing Trips in West Virginia

WEST VIRGINIA IS TRULY A FISHERMAN'S PARADISE

Trout Fishing

If trout fishing is your thing then you will be happy to know that RIVERS is proud to offer Back Country Trout Expeditions. Using these services you can fish several miles of excellent trout waters that are regularly stocked with the finest of trout including rainbow, golden rainbow, brook and brown trout.

Stocking begins in January and lasts throughout May, but trout are caught year round due to the high water levels of the small streams. These expeditions begin by hiking through woods and wading streams in some of West Virginia's most scenic areas.

If you enjoy native trout, there is fishing available in a few select small streams that are sure to please. Come fish with us and you will be fishing some of West Virginia's best streams and rivers. We provide the best guides and rates available.

World Famous New River Smallmouth Bass Trips

Come fish the New Riverconsidered to be one of the top four fishing rivers on the east coast! There are fifty plus miles of New River fishing accessible only by raft. From spring to fall, the New River is abundant with small and large mouth bass, rock bass, catfish, crappie and bluegill, with smallmouth bass being the most plentiful.

A full day trip with us consists of five to fifteen miles of the best smallmouth fishing West Virginia has to offer. Your trip will last anywhere from eight to ten hours depending on water level and conditions. All of our guides are local, well-trained and experienced river and fish guides. They are there to meet your needs. We have many packages to choose from including customized overnights and full and half day adventures.

Fishing the New River with the beautiful mountain scenery and its abundant wildlife will surely be one of your most memorable adventures. Please call or write us for a price list and further information.

Gauley River Trips: Smallmouth, Trout, Giant Muskey

Come fish the Gauley River! The Gauley is fast becoming as recognized for its fishing as the New River. However, the Gauley River is under fished water due to its total inaccessibility except by raft. This makes Gauley Fishing for the experienced angler only. When fishing the Gauley you will be fishing for may species of fish including: musky, walleye, small and large mouth bass, rainbow and golden rainbow trout, brook and brown trout.

Fishing on the Gauley River will be a day to remember. Depending on water levels trip times will vary. The Gauley River fishing trips are longer due to its "back country" location and the fact that the river is accessible only by raft. No matter what your trip time, the scenery is breathtaking, the fishing is fabulous, and our guides are well trained to maintain your safety and guarantee the fisherman a good time.

RIVERS has many packages to choose from, including customized overnight trips and full and half-day adventures. We have packages to fit your budget and your interests. If you have any questions or would like further information please contact us at 1-800-TRY RIVERS (800-879-7483).
